Guillermo checks returned appliances, and Jaudouard supervises operations. We are in the After-Sales Service Department of Cosson's, an electrical household goods company, a manufacturer of coffee grinders, which is about to be bought out by a multinational in the middle of the 1970s.

The audience is invited to share the life of the department over a few months, during a restructuring, a production strike, the time for some loves to end and others to begin.

From snatches of conversation, the audience manages, little by little, to understand these characters, the emotions they feel, their desires and their pain, the utopias they build, and also, through their way of expressing themselves, how they see themselves in relation to the company, to the History they are a part of, to society in perpetual motion.
