Zeljko Djukic

Zeljko Djukic taught acting at Belgrade's Drama Art School prior to his move to the US. Among his productions in the former Yugoslavia are Philoctetes, Woyzeck, Endgame, Don Juan Comes Back from the War, and The Taming of the Shrew.
In Washington D.C. Djukic directed Emigres, Radovan III, Leonce and Lena, Les précieuses ridicules, The Seagull, The Wedding/The Chalk Cross/The Beggar and Quartet.
He earned his MA from the University of Maryland and has taught at various schools and universities in the greater Washington/Baltimore area. He now resides, teaches and directs in Chicago.
Djukic directed most of TUTA's Chicago productions, Peter Handke's The Hour We Knew Nothing of Each Other, Alice, Pushkin's Mozart and Salieri, The Sweet Little Prince, Rules for Good Manners in the Modern World, Birds, and Teibele and Her Demon for Chicago's European Repertory Company.
